Climate
The climate of Drawa Wilderness is influenced by the Baltic Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Generally, it doesn’t differ much from the climate of the rest of the Pomerania region, though it is a bit more severe.
It sometimes happens that the weather in the middle of the forest complex is utterly different from the weather on the Park’s outer borders. The annual average temperature is 7,9ºC. There usually is little snow in the winters, and if there is snow, it lasts on the ground longer than elsewhere, and the roads are hardly penetrable. On average, there are 32 days in a year with freezing temperatures (below 0ºC). Local rains and storms are frequent in the spring and summer. Long periods of dryness happen occasionally and cause the forest administration to close the Park to the public. Such hot days (above 30ºC) are usually only very few in a year.

- Low amplitude of annual temperature differences,
- Late spring,
- Long, warm autumn,
- Mild, not very snowy winter,
